Qualification

Yvonne Weiss received her Master Degree in Architecture from Darmstadt Institute of Technology (TU Darmstadt) in Germany, where she developed her passion in lighting design. At the department of architecture she studied lighting design under Professor Hofmann whose profession in architectural lighting and lighting design is highly recognized worldwide. She worked several month as a lighting designer with ERCO Lighting in the USA and in Germany, before joining LEOX design partnership in Shanghai, China. She is a teacher in architectural lighting design and has a teaching position together with Professor Hofmann at the Master‘s Programme „Professional Studies Lighting Design, Architectural Lighting Design and Design Management“ at the University of Wismar.
During her academic studies she has worked on lighting projects in Germany and shown her excellent talent in architectural lighting design and implementation planning.
Through her international experience and the collaboration with Professor Hofmann she professionally supported the architectural lighting design company in Germany, Tropp Lighting Design (TLD) with her expertise.
Her portfolio ranges from hotel, retail stores to public and cultural buildings, highrise buildings to office towers and large scale commercial complex.
