ACCREDITATION
On behalf of the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE), the ASIIN (accreditation agency for engineering sciences, informatics, natural sciences and mathematics study courses) awards its seal of approval for programme accreditations to state and state-approved private universities in Germany. The Information Technology and Management Master correspondence study course was successfully accredited by ASIIN in October 2014. For this purpose, a team of external appraisers examined the Information Technology and Management Master correspondence study course. The ASIIN evaluation panel of experts was composed of representatives of other universities, a university distance-learning expert, a practitioner and a student representative, who examined the curriculum with all the modules, the study organisation as well as all the teaching materials. The special feature of this process is the wide spectrum of information, which has to be collected and assessed by the experts. Study-course directors and distance-learning students of the University of Wismar WINGS were also questioned in this process. This study course also opens up the higher levels of the civil service to you.
