Paul established his lighting consultancy in 1999 after working as in-house specialist lighting designer for two of the UK’s major architectural practices. Since then, Light Bureau has grown to become one of the most significant independent consultancies in Europe, handling major projects such as historical and public realm schemes including Christopher Wren’s Monument to the Great Fire in London and the Porto Montenegro Masterplan. Expanding the international portfolio of projects, Light Bureau are currently involved with commercial developments and masterplan designs in Baku, Riyadh, Dubai and China.
Company Role
Paul is very much an active designer as well as a leader at Light Bureau, dividing his time between projects and developing the business. At least half of his time is spent on creative work, inspiring colleagues and solving design issues.
