Are there also distance learning courses without attendance phases?
Yes. An online course of study offers you the chance to complete your distance learning without any attendance periods at all.

Where can I take the exams?
You can take exams at Goethe Institutes, German consulates or embassies, German schools abroad and, by prior arrangement, at a state university abroad. Members of the Bundeswehr on deployment abroad also have the option of taking written exams directly at the place of deployment.

How can examinations at universities abroad be organized?
To be able to take an exam at a university abroad, you must establish the initial contact between the university in question and WINGS. We will then take care of the further organization in coordination with you and the foreign institution.

Is a WINGS distance learning program interesting for me if I am not a German citizen?
Yes. Even if you are a citizen of another country, you can take advantage of the opportunities offered by the globalized education and labor market and start a distance learning program with us from your home country. In this way, you can prepare yourself for a future professional activity in Germany, for example.

What is the best way to organize the attendance times?
Our online programs do not require any attendance periods at all. In the other programs, the few attendance periods during the semester as well as oral exams can be easily combined with home leave or a business trip to Germany. WINGS offers 16 examination locations in Germany and Austria for online studies, where you can write your examinations in a variety of ways. This gives you the flexibility to choose the most convenient location.

How are distance learning students supported abroad?
During the entire study period, you will be personally supported by a study program coordinator via e-mail or telephone. In addition, you have the option of discussing subject-related questions directly with the lecturer via video conference or by telephone. The online campus "myWINGS" is available as a study-accompanying communication medium. Documents can be accessed via this platform from anywhere in the world. The online campus also offers the function of being able to contact fellow students, lecturers and the study supervisor interactively and in a study group-oriented manner at any time.

Are all study programs in German?
Most WINGS degree programs are offered exclusively in German. Exceptions are the English-language Master Lighting Design, the Master Green Architecture and the MBA International Logistics and Trade. However, the registration procedure for exams abroad is the same for German and foreign students.
