Each module ends with a module exam (usually a written exam of 120 minutes). You must be present in person to take the examinations. You have a choice of dates on five weekends during the semester. These five exam dates take place at 10 locations nationwide in Germany or - upon individual agreement with your program coordinator - at Goethe Institutes, partner universities or public institutions abroad.
You can take up to three exams on one exam day. At each exam location, there is cooperation with established colleges/universities. It is possible to change between the examination locations during the semester.
Examination locations in the online modules
You can choose from several examination days per semester. The examination days take place exclusively at weekends. You can take your examinations in the online modules flexibly at one of our 16 fixed examination locations in Germany and Austria
or worldwide at Goethe Institutes, partner universities, embassies or public institutions. If required, you are also allowed to complete the exams at other locations (after individual consultation with your course coordinator).
Alternatively and depending on the respective module, examinations can be submitted as presentation, as group and project work on real case studies conducted via online meetings.
